That very question how do I become a successful entrepreneur has been on the minds of some of the most brilliant minds in history, including you for taking the time to read this right now.
Note the first word, become – that hints that you already understand that entrepreneurship is a journey not a destination, a process not a one time event.
The second word, successful – this of course is up to ones own personal definition of success – write out your most CURRENT desires for wanting to become a successful entrepreneur
And of course last but not least, entrepreneur – thanks to wiki for this one lol… possession of a new enterprise, venture or idea and assumes significant accountability for the inherent risks and the outcome.
To become a successful entrepreneur entails any or all of the following
1. Financial Freedom (aka enough money to buy what you want, and achieve the G.O.O.D feeling – Get Out Of Debt)
2. Time Freedom (aka enough hours in the day to do what you want when you want)
3. Being your Own Boss (aka nobody commanding you what to do, making your hours and paychecks and being the captain of your own ship)
4. Meeting Cool People (aka peeps with dreams, goals and smile on there face for taking responsibility for there lives like you do)
5. For the Family (aka you’d like to spend quality time with your partner, children, and pets either now or in the future when you have them)
6. Giving Back (aka you realize the more money and time you have the more people, places and things you can help. On your deathbed you won’t remember the fancy things you possessed but the peoples lives you touched and contributed too)

This is great Katie.
You always have such a wonderful way of putting things. I love how you broke out the point that entrepreneurship IS a journey and that it will take time. People do not just one day wake up to being an entrepreneur.
Thanks for the post.
